Around the world, cigar aficionados recognise the initials CAO as the sign of the ultimate in long filler enjoyment.

The name behind this remarkable success is Cano A Ozgener, who founded the company in 1968 after moving from Turkey to the US to complete his education.

In 2000, CAO became only the 5th non-Cuban producer to receive a 92 rating by Cigar Aficionado magazine. Since then, most of the company's Long Filler cigars have been scored 90 or above, and the drive towards even better quality has continued ever since.

CAO aims to produce the world's finest cigars. Only the finest tobaccos from the most fertile growing regions are selected, sorted, aged and cured with extreme care and technical expertise. Complementary tobaccos are blended and tested at least 40 times before a new blend is determined.

CAO Black Mosaic Single Cigars (CIGBM)

CAO Black cigars were CAO's first brand. Black Mosaic cigars harmonise Ecuadorian Connecticut shade wrapper, Cuban seed from Nicaragua for the binder, and Cuban seed filler from Nicaragua, Honduras and Mexico. CAO Cameroon Tubos No. 1 Singles (CIGCA)

In 1999, CAO's L'Anniversaire Cameroon captured the attention of the premium cigar world when the Belicoso was scored an unprecedented 92 in Cigar Aficionado magazine. At the time, it was the only non-cuban cigar to score 92 or more. The L'Anniversaire remains one of the brand's highest rated cigars. It is noted for its unique and distinctive flavours of caramel, nuts and sweetened coffee. The Box-Pressed Tubo is in a unique square tube. This cigar is a 'perfecto' shaped cigar, tapered at the head and foot, and delivers a delightful melange of caramel, nuts and coffee.
