Savinelli

The Savinelli brand is one associated with luxury and is steeped in history. The first Salvinelli pipes were designed by Achille Savinelli Sr in his small Milan based shop in 1876. The task of manufacturing was given to artisans from the Varese district to complete until Achille Sr’s Grandson, Archille Jr began working at the shop in the early 1900‘s. It was he that took the step to mass produce the pipes he had lovingly designed, yet he strove to ensure that each pipe produced was to the same exacting standards of his hand made originals.

Today, the Savinelli company is world renowned for it’s luxurious pipes, and the current owner, Giancarlo Savinelli (Archille Sr’s great grandson), has been charged with ensuring that the Savinelli name remains true to the original standards of excellence set by his great grandfather.
